Zenvia is a growing online counselling platform supporting individuals affected by trauma, disability, caring responsibilities, and life transitions. We connect clients with qualified, trauma-informed practitioners — and support counsellors to do their best work, without the burnout of traditional roles.
We’re looking for experienced, independent counsellors to join our panel as contractors. If you’re tired of being overworked in agency settings or overwhelmed trying to build your own private practice from scratch, Zenvia may be the balance you’re looking for.
Why Work With Zenvia?
We provide the freedom of private practice with the support of a clinical platform — so you can focus on your clients, not marketing or admin.
Key Benefits:
Our accredited counsellors provide:
✔ Flexibility: Set your own availability, caseload, and preferred client types.
✔ Remote work: Provide sessions from anywhere in Australia.
✔ Pre-qualified referrals: We match you with clients under funded programs (e.g. Victims Services, Carers NSW, NDIS).
✔ Low admin burden: We handle bookings, client intake, tech, and invoicing.
✔ Practice support: Access templates, peer consults, policy guidance, and compliant workflows.
✔ Autonomy: Work as an independent contractor, without pressure or micromanagement.
We handle the intake, onboarding, referrals, bookings, reminders, and billing for Zenvia-sourced clients — while you remain in full control of your professional schedule and external private practice.
What Does That Mean in Practice?
You are free to:
✔ Operate your own solo counselling business outside of Zenvia
✔ Advertise and see your own private clients independently
✔ Offer services through other platforms or agencies (as long as contractual obligations aren’t in conflict)
✔ Adjust your Zenvia availability anytime based on your capacity or client load
Zenvia is here to support your professional goals, not restrict them.
