Counsellor-Client Confidentiality
All counselling sessions are strictly confidential. Information discussed during sessions will not be disclosed to third parties without the client’s informed consent, except where disclosure is required by law or necessary to prevent harm.
Data Storage
Session notes, transcriptions, and related data are securely stored on encrypted servers. Access is limited to authorised personnel to ensure the confidentiality of client and counsellor information.
Legal Exceptions
Confidentiality may be waived in the following circumstances:
✔ If required by law, such as mandatory reporting of child abuse.
✔ If there is a risk of serious harm to the client or others.
✔ If there is a risk of serious harm to the client or others.
Partnerships with Funding Bodies
To comply with funding body requirements, anonymised or summarised data may be shared. This is done in strict accordance with privacy laws and agreements.
